Coach FAQs

Simple, please click on the apply to coach button. You must submit your AFL coaching accreditation and working with children card via the upload buttons. Please fill out all the questions on the application. Please specify what you specialise in and what age group you are most comfortable coaching. When a footballer is searching for a certain skill specialisation and is in a certain age group, we will match these footballers with you.
Once your application is submitted our team will review it and notify you within 2-3 business days. Someone from our team will be in contact with you, if accepted we will inform you with all your details for the website.
To be the best possible coach and experience the best of One on One Football, we need you to be prepared with the following:
  • Communication - Please respond to a footballer in regards to a booking request and/or question within 24 hours.
  • Punctuality - Please be on time to your session, if you are running late, notify the footballer.
  • Organisation - Keep your availability times updated. Notify us when you have completed a session.
  • Equipment - Please have the relevant equipment such as footballs in good condition.
  • Respect and Professionalism - We value this as our number one expectation for our coaches. We are about having strong values towards behaviour and communication to footballers.
  • Safety and compliance - Exchanging of details will only be allowed once a footballer books the session. We do not accept this type of information exchange before a session is booked. Accepting session bookings outside the One on One Platform from One on One footballers is prohibited.
Footballers can buy a ‘session coupon’ or a package of session coupons off a coach. Once paid for, footballers are then able to use the session coupons to book in session times with the coach. The coach must approve the session time within 48 hours of the request, otherwise it will be considered void and the footballer will have to request another booking.
It is absolutely free to be a part of our coaching team. However whenever a booking takes place we deduct our service and administration fee from your payment. This fee will be disclosed on approval.
No this is not possible. All payments must be made via our platform which will require footballers to pay via credit card. This covers both the coach and footballer with insurance for the sessions and our payment security system to ensure refunds if a cancellation takes place.
Please allow up to 2-3 business days for payment to reach your account.
A player or coach can cancel a session with up to 24 hours before the session. This is to protect you from any “no shows” on the day. Please do not mark the session as complete if this is the case.
We understand that things come up from time to time. Coaches may request sessions be postponed. A reason must be given and then the footballer can decide whether to accept the postponement. If the postponement is not accepted up to 2 hours before the session is planned for, it will be assumed that the footballer has rejected the postponement and the session will go ahead as planned. If the postponement is accepted, the coupon is still valid, and the player can then request a booking at a later date.

If neither of the parties postpone and it is after the time that the session is booked for, it will be assumed that the session went ahead and the session ‘coupon’ used to book the session will be considered complete and will no longer be able to be used.

If either party have any complaints, they can contact One on One Football and the issue will be resolved by One on One Football.
Yes you sure can. Please add this to your price packages under group pricing. You don’t have to of course and keep all your sessions one on one.
