Ever since i was 5 years old my dream was to play AFL football, Every night I would be in the backyard copying all my 'heroes' footsteps, commentating to myself about kicking the winning goal on the M.C.G. After hours and hours of practice and long drives to Melbourne in the family car I was lucky enough to get drafted to the Geelong football club in 2002, After shoulder surgery and a broken fibula in my final year at the Geelong Falcons (TAC Cup) i was fortunate enough to get picked up in the pre-season draft, I remember my 1st day of pre-season training, January 5 2003 I was very nervous and actually came dead last in the 3km time trial...I had a long way to go!!! After putting my head down and bum up, 6 months later i played my 1st AFL game! It was a dream come true..but i wasn't satisfied with that, I wanted more!! My 2nd year at Geelong was a very exciting one, Playing in 3 finals matches that i will never forget...but unfortunately that was the last time i wore the blue and white hoops!!

As a kid i barracked for Melbourne and after the 2004 season an opportunity come up to get 'Traded' to the club I loved so much. At first I wasn’t to keen, as I just played in a Preliminary final and knew Geelong had a Bright future with so much Talent...but i decided to go with my heart and was lucky enough to play 122 games for the club i supported as a kid, Walking away with the 2011 Best & Fairest and lots of great memories to cherish.

After the 2012 season i needed a change and become the AFL's 1st Free Agent! It was an exciting process and I ended up making the move North to Brisbane. After 2 seasons with the Lions and 166 AFL games i had to retire at the age of 30 with on-going achilles and back problems.

After Retiring i moved to Noosa on the Sunshine Coast to run my own Football Academy as my passion lies with working with kids and seeing them develop 'on & off the field'.

I believe if you have the right coaching and mentoring around you then anything is possible, I’ve been through a lot during my football career and have plenty of experience to offer your child, I hope we can build a relationship that can grow with every session to get the best outcome for your child.
