I spent 10 seasons as a Coach with the Hawthorn FC (refer to my Coaching Background for further information on roles undertaken) and now Head of Development at the Collingwood FC. I previously came from a teaching background as a Physical Education teacher and Head of Sport for 13 years, prior to going into full time coaching (starting at the Gippsland Power NAB League). I am passionate about the development of young players / pathway players and also the development of coaches of Australian Rules football at both Junior and Senior levels.

Excellent knowledge and experience
Productive and insightful initial session with Damian. Excellent communication and instruction. Efficient session flow and transition with instruction, advice and drills. Most importantly, each drill was provided within context to my playing position and game situations and scenarios. Also provided with helpful technique drills which can be done at home for carryover to game technique.

My son did 3 sessions with Damian and found his coaching, communication and encouragement to be excellent. My son took away positive and simple messages that he can now incorporate into his training.
